For the past few years I have had the opportunity to be a staff photographer for the San Diego Comic Con.  It’s always a great experience and I come home with some fun images.

All the effort that the fans put into their costumes is one of the things I look forward to most of all. Here are a few of my favorites from the 2013 show.

How appropriate…a zombie bride.  Luckily none of my clients look like this. Haha.

More zombie action.

A great Wonder Woman costume.

mermaid man

Those of you with kids or just spongebob fans will recognize Mermaid Man. Somebody was walking by as I was taking the picture and they yelled “Hey where’s Barnacle Boy?”  He answered, “He couldn’t get a ticket to the Con.”

Princesses

A plethora of princesses.

supergirl

Hey kids…stay in school and  Supergirl says smoking is bad for your you.

I don’t know who these two are but I like it.

boxes

I think this one is pretty self explanatory.  Yes they were singing and dancing.

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Eric and Jackie’s engagement session at the Ellen Browning Scripps park near The Cove in La Jolla.

The weather was perfect for a fun shoot by the water.  Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

I photographed Daniel and Elizabeth’s wedding at The Farmhouse Inn in Julian and wow what a great spot for a wedding.  A private Inn with its own road and all the charm that comes with a rustic, farmhouse in the mountains.  As you will see it was a very fun bridal party.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from their story.

I recently photographed Nargis and Naseir’s engagement session in Balboa Park in San Diego.  As you know from my past work I usually have what I consider a timeless, clean edit on my wedding images.

This time I wanted to change it up and process the pictures so they look like they were shot on film and not digitally.  It was fun trying some different vintage looks with this set of shots.

Here are some of my favorites from this session.
