November, 2010 Archives

There’s a small neighborhood church in Point Loma named St. Agnes where I recently had the opportunity to photograph Amanda and Paul’s wedding.  They had their reception at a great local restaurant called Old Venice afterwards.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from their day.

They decided to walk each other down the aisle instead of the bride being given away by her father.

First kiss as a married couple.

We went nearby to Shelter Island to get some more pictures before the reception.

Bride, groom, best man and maid of honor with Point Loma in the background.

I just had to go black and white with this shot.

Okay and this one too.

Here they are arriving at Old Venice restaurant.

I had to climb up onto the roof of the building next door to get this shot of the restaurant from above.

Check out the new ring!

The bride’s friend sang a song for her along with the band they hired for the evening’s entertainment.

I always enjoy working at the La Jolla Wedding Bowl.  It’s a great spot for small, intimate weddings.  I had the opportunity to shoot Erik and Julia’s wedding there and am sharing some of my favorites from their big day.

Beautiful color in the sky looking towards The Cove.

They brought some seashells with them and I did a ring shot on one of the shells.

The view from above.

The happy groom seeing his lovely bride for the first time.

A flowergirl that actually cooperated.  What a nice surprise.

Bride with dad.

I think the groom just got something in his eye. 😉

Fun shot of the vows they wrote for each other.

The kiss!

What’s that saying…something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue?  Guess what her something blue was?

One big happy family.

Bridal party.

So I haven’t been as dilligent about updating my blog with all my recent weddings.   If you’ve visited my blog looking for a post about your recent wedding don’t worry it will get posted.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from Britney and Justin’s wedding that I shot at South Beach Coronado with a reception at a house in Rancho Bernardo.

The bride and her brother walking her down the aisle.

The lucky groom.

Perfect day for a beach ceremony!

The first kiss.

Woohoo.  Now it’s official.

Bridal party.

So they were all big Ohio State fans and they sent this picture to all their other OSU buddies.

What a great beach bride.

It’s always nice when you can wear flip-flops to your wedding ceremony.

Ring shot.

Love this shot!

It’s a nice treat to get up on the lifeguard tower.

The reception at the house in Rancho Bernardo looked great and nobody fell in the pool while I was there.

Mmmmm…cake.

Mmmm…Corona!

A messy cake kiss.
